Athlon XP-M 2500+ @ 4000+ -- claimed by a hardware site..
http://www.tweakpc.de/tweaking/athl..c/athlon_oc.htm

as the subject line says

taking an Athlon XP-M 2500+ ( 1866 - 14 x 133 )

overclock to become a 4000+ ( 2535 - 11 x 230 )

before everyone gets too excited, the graphs imply
the CPU wasn't stable at that speed,
but does seem to have been stable as a 3700+ ( 2460 - 12 x 205 )

all of the tests appear to have been performed with air-cooling

I don't read German, so perhaps someone who does would
care to take a look and provide a better summary than I can.

This is by no means extraordinary. I run my 1700+ at 10.5x230 right now
on a NF7-S with a simple watercooling setup. With a mobile barton 2600+ I'd
be disappointed if it wasn't stable at 11x230.

I can belive it
but. I must say that I bet they just happen'd to get a chip that's a bit
better than normal.

My 2500+ barton (desktop not M) doesnt seem to go crazy with the temp when I
overclock it. It just seems to die once I get too high. So Yea I can def
see it being possible to get a stable chip to work at that.

My Barton XP-M 2500 has been run at 200x12.5 at 1.75v, aircooled with a
Thermalright SP-97 and a Panaflo 92mm fan. Currently runs at 12x200 @ 1.6v.

I'm running an XP2500+ Mobile at 12 x 218MHz for a Clock speed of 2616 (CPUZ
says 2620MHz) right now, air cooled and Prime 95 stable..so in terms of
clock speed there results are pretty ordinary.

I tried that and it produced such delights as:

----------------------------------------
Recently we have looked how much achievement one from
a current Pentium 4 herauskitzeln can and today want we again
with a Athlon somewhat more highly outside, because 2376 MHz
hand us nevertheless not completely.
For this purpose we selected ourselves from degrees-wear one
the new Athlon Xp-m Low volume day processors and to want it
steam under the back to make once correctly.
----------------------------------------

and as a result, I have decided that
I too want it steam under the back to make once correctly.

I've always found the AltaVista translations to do an excellent job.
