No middle mouse button for my Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0
As the subject says, the middle mouse button-function does not exist in
the IntelliPoint 5.0 drivers for my Wireless Optical Mouse 2.0, or any
other mouse device in the list of supported mice for that matter.

All I can get are useless web functions, or map it to right/left mouse
click. I could get one or two applications to accept the input (when i
configured input for games) as Mouse Button 4, if I mapped it to
"Forward", which was kind of acceptable.

But I just want a clean Middle Mouse Button! Any drivers that will work?
Any tricks I can use? I'm thinking a generic mouse driver wont work with
the whole wireless thing? If it's of any use, the mouse came in the
Wireless Optical Desktop package.

Thanks, /Joel

Found the solution myself, turns out that the function "AutoScroll" is
the same as Middle Mouse Button. I guess that makes sense for people
that only browse the web (with IE) and little else with their
computers. God damn, I hate Microsoft more and more every day.

Start
control panel

Select "auto scroll" or "middle-click" from the drop down list of the button
you want to use (middle button)

Carlos.
