Hi,

I have an i-mate PDA2K mobile pocket pc, which I store video and audio apart
from using it as a phone. I want to be able to have a smart display in the
car, which connects wirelessly to the display of the PDA. Is this possible
with the Smart Displays ?

Apart from the ViewSonic is there any other hardware vendor ?

As far as I am aware, the Pocket PC does not support incoming remote desktop
connections. It has an RDP client to allow it to connect to a remote PC,
but does have the RDP server piece to allow remote connections in. Without
that you will not be able to connect a Smart Display to a Pocket PC.

There are several hardware vendors other than ViewSonic, although ViewSonic
was the primary vendor in the US. Others include Philips (their model was
called DesXcape) and TriGem. These units are becoming increasingly harder
to find since MS discontinued advancement of the technology.
