my advansys abp930 scsi card doesn't detect my yamaha a3000 hardware music sampler - i want to send samples from the pc to the sampler using smidi via soundforge, etc. in the scsi utility that runs after bios checks i receive an error stating 'error:init target 0x15 pci card not found: bios not installed'. i'm using different device numbers for the pc and the sampler and both are set to terminate as they are directly connected. the sampler is a standard scsi device and should be detected by my scsi card but...? the scsi port on the sampler works as does the cable and the scsi card in my pc...any ideas? please please please please please help 'cos i'm running out of places to look for advice!
