Dell Computers - Latitude CPx doesn't like the C-Dock II ???

Latitude CPx doesn't like the C-Dock II ???

I'm trying to use a Latitude CPx (PIII-650) with a C-Dock-II docking
station. It DOES work but the CPx always stops at the "F1 to continue, F2
to setup" screen until I hit F1/F2, as if something's not right. After I
hit F1, everything continues as normal but it's annoying.

The CPx seems to be otherwise OK and works fine with a C-Port-II port
replicator. The C-Dock-II seems to be otherwise OK and works fine with a
C640.

Is there something mutually incompatible between the C-Dock-II and the CPx
? Anybody else running this combo ?
